In the beginning , I thought he talked too much. At first he seem to me like a bit of a con artist ,but later I found him to be kind hearted.

Neelix was an asset to Voyager. In the beginning, he helped Voyager to avoid trouble, because he knew this region of space. He also helped in obtaining food and preparing it for the crew. At times energy reserves were low enough to effect the replication of food.

yes, very good food... poor neelix, when they past the border of space he knew he was so depressed and he felt useless.

As Voyager was heading back home taking Neelix farther from his home. Maybe this is part of what made him sad. He could have been Home sick. What ever became of Neelix? I never saw the episode when he left the ship?

Amebruz. You saw the episode that Neelix left. Tell me how and why he left. Did he go back to his home?

Amebruz. It changes from time to time. As far as I know Sci-fi and spike channels have trek shows. Right now where I'm at its Voyager, STNG, and Enterprise. One of the local channels has the original Trek but its on too late for me to watch. Some times one of the channels will have a trek marathon and show viewer's favorites episodes all day long. I record them when I can.

I think that if I knew Neelix personally that I wouldn't be able to help but to like him. But on the show, I do not like him too much, but I do find him quite funny. I gave him the vote of "funny".

I didn't vote because I'm not a regular watcher of Voyager, and I didn't want to unfair skew the results. But my general opinion of Neelix is positive.
