In this episode Captain Picard, Guinan, Ro, and Keiko O'Brien are turned into 12 year olds by an anomalous energy field that they encounter in a shuttle on their way back to the enterprise-D There are a lot of uncomfortable and funny situations in this episode! The Bridge crew would not take a 12 year old in appearance Captain Picard seriously! Commander Riker had to assure them! More soon!

The Ferengi in 3 salvaged Klingon Birds of prey, capture the Enterprise-D in a surprise attack. The 4 crew members bodies being turned into 12 year olds does later work to their advantage in re-taking the ship from the Ferengi. The Ferengi put the adults on the planet and leave the children on board except for Riker.

The ending was good and funny when all the kids including the 4 adults in kids bodies re-took the ship from the almost bumbling Ferengi! ;D The Ferengi turned out to be renegades who had enslaved the Federation citizens on the planet and were going to do the same to the crew of the Enterprise-D

There's a funny quote on the card of the Ferengi commander from this episode. The card is from the old Decipher game.

It's a card game made by a company called Decipher. It was produced from 1994 to like 2006, but I stopped collecting in 03 or 04. You get cards in packs like baseball cards, but it's a game. Character cards have bios on them, and the commander's says "Would've gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for those meddling kids."

Worf's son Alexander's toy was used to distract the Ferengi. It was funny because one of the Ferengi was so fascinated by it at one point...big mistake for him! They ended up trapping most of the Ferengi with the transporter and behind a force field.
Thanks for the information on the decipher card game! There seems to be a lot of collector card games!

Probably over 200, all told. Only a dozen or so could have been considered successful, though. Star Trek had the second-longest run of any CCG, but it's since been surpassed by Legend of the Five Rings.

I have seen some of these cards from the various qames, including some of the Star trek ones. You know a lot more about this than I do!

Well, is that a good thing? I just used to play a lot of CCGs. No one else besides two kids at school played Star Trek, so it was mostly collecting.

Even if you did a lot more collecting than playing, at least you had fun collecting them!

Yeah. I've still got my collection, well, only the rare cards. I have three copies each of Sulu, Tom Paris and Quark signed by the actors.

These are good collectible cards to have as they are no doubt quite valuable!! Are there any of the 4 Enterprise crew that were turned into 12 year olds?

Well, the market's dropped a lot because of the economy and the fact that they aren't published anymore, but in 10 or 15 years they should go back up, then I'll sell.
There were no young versions of the characters printed, but there is a card that has their picture. Can't remember what it does.

Good Stratagy about the cards Kijuro!
How would you feel or what would you think if you were suddenly in a body of a 12 year old? I'm not sure if I would like it, but It would be good to have a longer life span, if it was a good life that I would be living!!!
