I think I cried on the last episode of Quantum Leap when they said that he was never able to leap home.

Oh, yeah. I hope you caught this past Wednesday's episode, in 1969 where Al told Sam he was there to prevent a woman from declaring her MIA husband dead so she could get married again. That was a real tear-jerker (especially when it turned out that Al himself was the MIA in question). It also strangely reminded me of the movie "Ghost"...

Oh Yes I Love Quantum Leap, I Think I Seen That One? Not Sure Though. I Think I Heard Of The Movie Ghost, But Never Seen It. I Love Quantum Leap, As For The Real Thing, Yes On My Planet Our ships Are Fully Capable Of This. How We Can Return To The Same Dimension Without Returning To An Altered Version Of Our InterPlanetary Dimension, Is Simple. We Use An Anti-Dimensional Distortion/Quantum Interphase Shield, As This Pevents Us From Coming Back To Another Version Of Our Planet, Which Would Look The Same But Will Not Be The Same. We always Return To The Same Dimension With Out The Distortive Affects.

I have seen "Quantum leap" only a few times, years ago. The only vivid memory I have of it is when Scott bakula leaps into a woman's body and is wearing a dress. I also vaguely remember him leaping into a body and there was some kind of hostage situation.

I've got my DVR set to record all the re-runs that air, so it's probably in there somewhere. I'll have to watch it again. I remember seeing the episode, but I don't remember how it ends. Don't they also go back to this moment in the last episode?

Did anybody see Tuesday's episode, where Beckett was a Black medical student living through the 1965 Watts Riots? I only bring it up because that police captain looked familiar, didn't he? I can't be totally sure (without the grey face paint), but I think it was Gul Dukat!

Atoz. I did not see the episode of quantum leap you were referring to, but "Gul Dukat" is played by Marc Alaimo. He also played a romulan in at least 1 ep of stng, and was one of the men, (poker players) in "Times arrow" where Mr Data wins at the poker table when he gets sent back to 1893.

Thanks. Now that I know his name I can look out for it in the future. And I have to correct myself -- it was Monday's episode, not Tuesday's.

Now they're changing the rules on us! Wednesday's episode had Beckett in a pregnant woman, so now they're saying he really does switch bodies, and at the same time gets covered by some kind of double-talk "body aura" so that he only looks like the person he's replacing to the people around him! I think this makes a lot less sense.

One of my favorite episodes was a three-part one. In it Sam takes the place of 3 different people who are connected to the life of a person named Abigail Fuller.

It's been a long time. You'll have to refresh my memory on that one.
Do you watch "CSI: New Orleans", the one that Scott Bakula stars on? I don't watch it myself, but I was passing by a television set one day about...oh three or four weeks ago, and there was Dean Stockwell in a guest appearance!
