Apart from funny quotes, there are serious ones too. I like Kirk's speech in "A Taste of Armaggedon" --
"I'm a barbarian, but I'm not going to kill today. That's all it takes. Knowing I'm not going to kill... TODAY."

I remember a few times Dr McCoy telling Captain Kirk that" he would have made a fair psychologist " and Kirk responding with "Fair?!"

Oh man I miss TOS,... I'm on the third season of TNG and I really miss TOS D: I have to watch some of it again Hmmm I really love all of the "I'm a doctor, not a ____" quotes,.. but I can't think of any prominent ones that come to mind.

Speaking of McCoy, I found the best compilation of "He's dead, Jim" moments on youtube.

Kirk: Now you're starting to sound like Spock. McCoy: If you're gonna get nasty, I'm gonna leave. Tomorrow is Yesterday

From StarTrek Phase ll Blood and Fire. McCoy says "We don't put bullseyes on the red shirts anymore" or Capt. Kirk: Mr.Chekov, You'll prepare to move the Enterprise out of the blast radious. Arm phasers and photon torpedoes. Mr. Scott, I'll need all available power to the shields. Once Mr. Spock has transfered the logs from the Coppernicous, we'll take final messages from our mission team. And once that is completed, you will all step away from your consoles. I will personally implement the Code 9 Distruct myself. Scotty (shaking his head at the thought of the Captain destroying the ship his own nephew and First Officer are trapped on): Captain, ya don't hav ta do this. The Coppernicous is headed strait for the streemer anyway. Kirk: Starfleet Command requires a visual confirmation of a Code 9. And once we have that confirmation... (he steps to stand before Scotty) I will submit my resignation to Starfleet Command, and you will assume command of the Enterprise. Scotty (shaking his head): Captain Kirk... I'd follow ya inta hell ta rescue a snowball, but take your command... No Sir! I will not do it. Kirk: That's a direct order, Mr. Scot. Scotty: And if I refuse? Kirk (moving to stand before Uhura): Lt. Uhura, you will assume command, and place Mr. Scot under arrest. Uhura (crossing her arm before her): No Sir. I will not assume command of this ship. Kirk (moves to stand before Chekov): Mr. Chekov. (attempts to stare him down) Chekov (glancing over at Scotty and Uhura before looking down then lifting his chin and crossing his arms) Kirk (looks to Bones) Bones (crossing his arms and staring back): Don't even think about it.

Thank you for quoting that, Korgono. This "Phase II" does NOT look like something I want to waste time watching, after all.

What's Phase II?? I have a book on Phase II but I thought it was just an idea that never materialized into a TV series...I'm confused.

Previously, in the First Contact section, Korgono gave a link to this website www.startreknewvoyages.com/which apparently creates fan-made episodes patterned after the Original Series. At first I did think it was a good idea, but I was just pointing out that this quote he gives us depicts the entire crew of Enterprise in Open Mutiny against Kirk, which seems unrealistic at the very least.

From "The Trouble with Tribbles"
McCoy: "They're soft and furry and they make a pleasant sound." Spock: "So would an ermine violin, doctor, but I see no advantage in having one."
