I did like the last episodeds with Westley, because he had grown up and had a mind of his own more. When he was younger, I wished he would just go away !!!

Undisciplined sorry not right word my english isn't good sorry.. Unrestrained maybe? Like in "Datalore" he speaks out of turn and when he is told to "shut up" he gets all sulky... I know in the end he saves the day but I just do not find that aspect of personality good...

Probably worth pointing out that apparently Wil Wheaton who played Wesley hated him too...

I'm not sure I know anyone who actually liked Wesley. I always found him too be lacking in character in a lot of ways really.

I think the Wesley character could have been done much better! The Traveler being interested in Wesley's abilities was one of the few things about him I found interesting. I never cared for the goofy kid idea even though he was smart!

I didn't like Wesley at first, but over time, he started to grow on me. He matured. By the time he was ready to leave for the Academy, I was sorry to see him go.

Wesley Crusher is one of my favorite characters, I hate when people put him down! He's smart, so what?!

Okay, so I don't hate him personally but he's a bit annoying especially at first. Somewhere around there's a set of epsiode reviews by Wil Wheaton at TV Squad - just type "Wil Wheaton tng reviews" into Google and it comes up.

I liked him because he was only a couple years older than me, and I knew what it felt like to be like him. He wasn't trying to annoy anyone -- he was just curious and excitable, which is normal for a teenage boy. In fact, his mom worried that he wasn't getting into enough trouble for his age! I did think it was a little annoying how he put on the "shy act" at the very start, but generally, I thought his character was pretty typical of a smart teen, particularly one flying through the Universe on a cross (socially) between a cruise ship and a naval AFB. I think Wil Wheaton did a fabulous job interpreting and conveying Wesley's character. I liked "Justice" and "The First Duty" the best though. The Traveler was cool, but I felt like they could have developed more of a story line with more background info on him. I also thought it was odd that, had Q done the exact same things the Traveler did, even said the same things, just with his Q personality instead, the crew would have reacted very, very differently. I felt like they warmed up to the Traveler way too easily.
