I don't want to think about Koloth with glowing eyes and the powers of Gary Mitchell! But then, surely the Klingons have explored the edge of the galaxy, too. I wonder why we've never heard of them discovering the energy barrier?

Actually, I wonder how high the Klingons capacity for telepathy is? Never thought of that - it might be they DID encounter it but they haven't a high enough ESP-or-equivalent for it to affect them telepathically?

I liked her, too. She was definitely a beautiful woman, but also brainy. And she wasn't just there as a "damsel in distress", either.
