I've been waiting for this show for a couple months, and I just finished watching the premiere about 5 minutes ago. I guess I liked it, but I wasn't blown away. After SG1 and Atlantis it has a lot to live up to, and I'm not sure it will be as good as those shows were. I'll give it several episodes before I make a judgment.

Oh I see, OK ;D. I think I'll give it a go, we have a repeat viewing on Tues 6th so I'll try and catch that. I only watched a small amount of SG1 and haven't bothered with SG Atlantis so maybe that will work in my favor ( nothing to compare it too ) thanks Matthew

I lost interest in the first fifteen minutes, when one guy is recruited for a top secret government space mission because he was good at an internet computer game. Lieutenant General O'neill showed personally up at his house! Yeah right!

I thought it was OK, but could have been done better! I did find the plot interesting! I will keep watching it and hope they improve some things! It wasn't an A rate show , but was better than a bad B rate episode of the outer limits!

My expectations are not all that high either! They said they that it was being made to be more sexy than the other Star Gate series which to me sounds like an act of desperation to get people to watch the show for sex appeal alone or for the most part. I think with the plot in place , they don't need to be this way...surely they have some writers with some imagination to come up with some good stories?!? I'm not saying that Human nature should be excluded, just that it shouldn't be the main attraction of the show!!!

Well I watched it and OMG! hasnt Colonel Jack O'Neill gotten fat...lol last I saw of SG1 he was slim if some what grey...lol( being 59 is no excuse in hollywood ) The new show was ok, not a huge fan of Robert Carlyle but I'm willing (if I remember) to give it a go next episode although it just seems pretty much the same old thing.

I noticed this to! I only recall seeing Robert Carlyle play bad guys! This is the first time I have seen him playing a good guy! O'Neil looked a lot older to and he had 3 stars on his uniform. It was nice to see Col Carter though!

I got pretty tired of watching them bicker and argue with each other all the time. I guess Star Trek spoiled me.

A lot of series start off with mediocre pilots, so I'm hoping it gets a lot better. I can't determine where exactly they're going with Dr. Rush, as he wasn't very likable in the pilot. I'll probably watch for at least a couple more episodes and see how it goes.
