yeah true, it added something different having a dog on a starship all the othere star trek ships had no dogs on. Yes, indeed. And imagine that dog bolding GOing where no dog has gone before! ;( Seriously, I had to vote for Lt. Reed. Archer being a close second of course.

"Captain Archer, could you please come down to Engineering? And bring your pooper scooper, sir. Porthos has had an accident in the dilithium manifold."

"Never mind, Captain. Mister Tucker says that engine efficiency is up half a percent, so he's just going to leave it there."

One of my favorite characters on "Enterprise" is Captain Shran, the Andoran. I was fascinated by Andorans when I first saw them on the Original Series episode "Journey to Babel", and always hoped to see them again. I liked Ambassador Shras' wispy voice, suggesting a delicate, almost fairy-like creature (HA!). One other discrepency -- I got the impression that Andorans had antennae INSTEAD of ears, whereas on "Enterprise", they have both!

I like Malcolm Reed, there is just something about him which made him endearing.

I agree with Varel, the relationship with T'pol and Archer is fascinating. I also like andorians.

Tucker is my favourite character. He's an interesting, humorous character with great pesonality and really adds depth to the series. Tucker picks up my vote.

Trip would probably be my second choice (now that I've cooled on Archer a little). I didn't take to him at first, but he definitely got more interesting to me as time went on.

I interpret "favorite" as the character I most identify with. I chose Reed because he is most like me in temperament. He is logical, analytical and keeps his feelings to himself for the most part (one of the reasons I joined an online forum is to learn to express my feelings better -- you have no idea how introverted I am in real life). In fact, he almost makes a better Vulcan than T'pol does.

Almost, except when he decides to fight with his subordinates... e.g. the Major

But he did that for a very logical reason. Um....give me a minute and I'll think of one...

Isn't it odd that a thread with a straightfoward question that needs only one post to awnser ahas us all talking on other topics...
