Lol, it is actually. I'd actually even say the burgers are more greasy...but better. Lately i've been put off by the thought of greasy fried foods. I suppose that's a good thing, but fast food is just so easy, it's hard not to eat there. Guess I'll just go and munch on some lettuce. *om nom nom*

Well At Least Lettuce Is Better For You! I'm A Pure Carnivore, Love My Meat! Though I'll Eat Salad Too! Eating Out Is Something I Rarely Do, But Only Now And Then Will I!

I enjoyed The Animated Series thoroughly.
Mr. Data- What part of SoCal are you from- I was there in 2001 in Sherman Oaks as a exchange student- just thought I would ask.

This is interesting. In the late 70's my aunt and uncle lived near Riverside CA. Have you lived in this are long Mr Data?

I know this is off topic, will pm you about this.
As far as the animated series went, I wonder why they never made any more from the original or any other of the Star Trek series?

Hopefully they will make a new series based off the new movie or something more cannon because of the large Star Trek fan population increase. I know they're making another movie, but since several of the new cast members are already in TV who knows! I really wish they would continue some of the series, but we can't win them all. I for one loved TAS. It was very fun and lighthearted and I was so glad that they used the original actors. Well now I'm rambling on.

The only thing I don't understand is from the animated episode "Yesteryear" where it is seen that Spock had died in childhood. How in blazes did that happen? Although I have not seen that episode since the 1970s, I'm still sure about that childhood death. So the adult-Spock had to travel back in time to save his childhood counterpart. Isn't that a discrepancy?

It is a little confusing. It's sort of a strange circular time loop. Spock didn't die as a child because his adult self happened to arrive in time to prevent it. He even remembered himself! But for some reason when he went back in time (remember the mission at the beginning of the episode?) he wasn't available to rescue himself, so the entire timeline changed! Normally that should mean that the adult Spock should have completely disappeared, but this is the Guardian of Forever we're talking about. The rules may not apply to it.

I was watching episode 5, "More Tribbles, More Troubles", with my then five-year-old brother, and he laughed so hard at the end he almost peed his pants. That got him into Star Trek, and now he has seen nearly every episode.
