Zack I prefere the name "Terran" when refering to humans and hate the term "earthling".....sounds so weak! and stupid! I'm glad that in the trek episodes, this lame name wasn't used that much! Terra is the Latin name for earth...in case you didn't know as Luna is the Latin name for the moon.

I remember in "The Trouble with Tribbles", Korax used the term "Earthers" -- "The Earthers like those fuzzy things, don't they?". But he was obviously trying to needle them with a term they didn't like.

Atoz. Yes I remember. He was trying to provoke them into to a fight which did happen later.

Atoz. I agree with you on this one about Journey to Babel TOS. I realize in some episodes it may be budget issues for the reasons too many aliens look much like humans, though I think some should look similar. I would like to see more non humanoid life forms that are not pure energy well of course there are the aquatic zindi

Shakfar. The Aquatic Xindi are interesting, but were not created until long after the original Star Trek episode "Journey to Babel".

What bothers me about the Aquatics is how they could build spaceships that were seemingly much more advanced than anyone elses, and they just had two clumsy-looking flippers?

Shakfar. We seem to have mis-understood each other. I was posting from the viewpoint of the Star Trek creators/writers and you were posting from the perspective of the Star Trek Time-line. It's no big deal though! Atoz. I have often wondered about how the Xindi Aquatics built their ships to. Perhaps they had help or some technology unknown to us to accomplish this!
