Since the Founders/Changlings genetically re-engineered the Vorta, it is likely they did the same with the Jem Hadar to suit their needs!
I would agree that Dukat was a lot like Hitler!!

The Vorta were cloned. When one of them died, a clone of the one that died took it's place. They were adult clones.
Dukat was the one who brought the Dominion to the Alpha quadrant. This makes him one of the most evil charaters in Star Trek!

Yes, they became unable to clone any more in the Alpha Quadrant, because the female changeling said she would replace this Weyoun if she could, and after that Weyoun was at the signing on Deep Space 9, and at that point he was the 9th

I quite liked Weyoun. The acter that played Weyoun also played a minor charecter in Voyager. Remember that episode with seven and the tsenkatsi games where seven had to fight. The acter played the circus owner.

Geoffry Combs was the actor's name...the one who played Weyoun, Brunt, and Shran from Enterprise.
The Actor who played Dukat also played a Romulan in an episode of STNG titled "The Neutral zone" Marc Alaimo is his name.

I liked an episode of DS9 that was set on Earth in the 1950's and you got to see all the characters without make up, Marc had an incredibly wrinkly neck if i remember

It really is interesting to see all of them without the makeup. They look so different. And people like Jeffrey Combs, who played three roles in DS9 and other random ones in other series look really different with different makeup!

Back to the topic at hand. Dukat was without a doubt one of the best characters on any series of Star Trek.
Marc Alaimo who played the role also played another Cardassian in TNG called Gul Macet (S4 E12 "The Wounded) Leaving Macet's weird facial hair to one side I sensed some quality to that character that Marc was never able to develop.
As Dukat however he was really good. His character was unstable as already said but it was almost like he always wanted to do the right thing OR do the wrong thing for the right reasons but his priorities would never sit still long enough for him to finish anything. I did not view him as evil even when he portrayed him self as emissary of the Pah Wraith's on Empok Nor (DS9's sister station) as it was more about the control and power than the religion. At the very end of course when he tricked Kai Winn to her death did I see him as truly lost amongst men and driven mad by power however not evil as such.
I think for him there was an element of chauvinism and an uncontrollable lust for power. This in turn drove him off the edge at the end.
