I wish!
...seriously, watching Star Trek has made me fear the stars less, the idea of getting out there and exploring the galaxy isn't as scary as it once was. The expanse, the lack of atmosphere alarmed me at one point but I went to see the film the second time and I that night I was gazing out my window and realised that actually...maybe it would be kinda cool.

I know what you mean arkroyal! One day I want to get out there and explore the stars! That would be so great, to see a nebula or some binary stars.

Please stop being negative because when you do this you are ruining everything! Don't worry! Extra effort will be made so this won't happen as much!! I don't think you're understanding me, Andrew. I'm not trying to be negative, I'm trying to be positive. I'm just pointing out that We have all kinds of Star Trek topics that are lying idle. If the intent of this thread is to have conversations on a variety of topics, I have no objections. For example, I'm trying to have a conversation right now about whether we need a "Random" topic or not. But if the intent is just a place to post any disjointed thought that comes into your head, we have plenty of such topics already, as well as a perfectly serviceable Spamming Thread, and a Shout Box. And no, I do not see any evidence of any "extra effort" being made. I understand what you mean about the topics. My thoughts are not disjointed! It's more like a stream of conciseness!! You are singling me out and being negative towards me! You only see what you want to, which is all the negatives and none of the positives!!

This is a better place for this thread! I'm watching Star Gate Atlantis now.

Yes this is a better place. But isnt the spamming board on parrises squares? I realized that I modified the board titles a while back and never moved the Spamming Board to a more appropriate place. So now it's located inside Ten Forward.

This may sound weird but I think the Klingons are rather like the Vikings. Just a random thought!

I only just found that out in history class!I always thought as it was illustrated on books this way that Vikings had horns on there helmets but of course they never did! The reason I think the klingons are abit like the Vikings but with space technology is they both like drink, a good battle and weapons of great harm. Just my opinion! Cos I'm weird

Nay, it is true... and in TOS they were actually inspired by the soviet. It being in the middle of the cold war and all.

I was wondering. Whatever did happen with all the Klingons having ridges when before there were most with flat foreheads. I have forgotten!

Well, I recommend watching Enterprise season 4, that explains everything including why they act a little different too.
