True...
Actually, one of my least favourite episodes of Voyager was the one where Kim is "sent" to an alternate universe where he is still on earth. It was one of those episodes that would have had potential if it wasn't about Harry Kim. Yet, I found that with alot of the episodes about Chakotay and Neelix. Perhaps I am biased because I did not like them, therefore I did not like the episodes...

Now, Chakotay was an interesting character, I thought -- a Lakota "indian" serving on a starship, and still doing the medicine rituals, the spirit journeys and so forth. I'm sure the doctor came up with sound, scientific, physiological reasons that things like this work, but I have to confess I haven't watched Voyager often enough to hear them.

I'm not actually sure if the doctor did. Janeway often tried to explain it scientifically, but I think the doc just let Chakotay have his way. Actually, I think Chakotay himself, on occasion, spoke out on the scientific aspects of his "faith". Such as admitting that he used a rock that had the same effect as using narcotics.
Clearly, I watch too much Voyager

I'm thinking in particular of the sweat lodge. Sitting inside an enclosed room with a fire pouring carbon dioxide into the atmosphere is not normally considered a healthy thing to do -- except that oxygen deprivation will sometimes lead you to a "vision", i.e. hallucination.

My least favourite was The Doctor. I don't know whether it was in his programming or something but he seemed to know everything an I'm like God, calm down the opera and the literature for a while!

Well, he had access to the ship's computer database, didn't he? (the advantages of being a hologram) I didn't like him because I couldn't grasp how an holodeck character could suddenly become sentient.

Kes was boring and I did not particularly like the way the actress played her, could have been done better.

I was surprised to see you say that Seven of Nine was your second-least favorite. She tends to get high marks on the Favorite character lists.

Well that can usually be attributed to Jeri Ryan's looks...
