Not exactly obvious, but... since some of his posts lead me to believe that Mr. Data is from California, deduction leads me to assume you are also from that state. Right? Atoz, you're like Sherlock! Great detective work. Then you'd be correct. So I take it from Atoz, you're a Californian too?

Born, raised, and still lives in Languedoc France. I love it here. Came to the United States as a exchange student for 1 year in 2001 and enjoyed the American culture. May consider coming to USA for good.

If you don't mind me asking of course.

Nah, I don't mind. I came to Sherman Oaks California. LOVED IT!!! Main differences: Time (right now it is 4 AM in my area) Education is highly stressed in France (very hard to get a job with out a high school diploma) Driving License can not be gotten until age of 18 Most of us are Catholics (America- whatever flyes may go) Drinking age in France is 18 (not that I do it) There are many other differences to talk about, but if you would like to know something, let me know and I will answer it. I could go on and on, but I should be asleep. Cheers M.Gomez

I'm bumping this back to the top so everyone will notice it.
If I didn't mention it earlier, I'm one of those Americans. I live in the state of Georgia, not too terribly far from the city of Augusta.

I'm from Salisbury, south Wiltshire, southwest England, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, northern Europe, in the north hemisphere.
Okay so I didn't need to add the last two. XD I'm guessing you already know those bits.

You'll notice that this is an old topic, and many of these people aren't around anymore. And it should be obvious that relatively few people responded. I know we once had a member from Hungary, another from Germany, one from France, one from Italy (living in Bolivia at the time), even one Scotsman (he called himself Tartan Trekkie).
