Okay, so who voted for ST 5 but didn't want anyone to know that it was them who actually liked it enough to vote for it? (Final Frontier is my least favorite.)

I think First contact is the best with the effects on it as well as the borg being on it as well.

lets see... Undiscovered Country- the visual effects as well as seeing the Excelsior and the Constitution paired as a comparison..
First Contact- for the ship-to-ship combat
Nemesis- also for the ship-to-ship combat and the fire-fights
Wrath of Khan- for the ship-to-ship combat
Insurrection- all of it
do i not like the ship-to-ship combats?

Ship-to-ship combats are very cool. When looking at movies from that perspective, Nemesis would probably be my favorite. The Enterprise ramming into the Scimitar...how cool is that?
BTW Jon, I like that pic in your signature.

You missed out Nemisis my favourite Star Trek Film. I'll tell you about that instead.
I liked the way it began with the event and Data singing which was a good beginning. I thought him singing that song really showed how close he was to humanity. I really liked the battle with the Enterprise, the two romulan ships and that Scimitar. It really made me feel sad at the end when Data sacrificed hisself to save Captain Picard. I missed everybody leaving the Enterprise only knowing Geordi and Worf would be the only ones left apart from Picard. I even remembered when Riker said, "i met him in the holodeck next to a tree. He couldn't get that tune right. What song was it, don't even remember." It was pop goes the weasel. That brought memories although i'm not that old. Ace film! 10/10. The story line and everything about it was ace.

I have to say I tottally love the tng series but I grew up watching the tos films at least once a week (lol then again it was tng episodes every single night, nojoke)
Nemesis was completely up to par with the whole series, even with that evil berman lurking around. (In fact i bought the dvd series set in hopes that the corporate suits would realize that people love star trek still and enterprise just sucked)
Hey does anyone know if st nemesis is acctually related to that Star Station Nemesis the kid in trekkies wrote?

What would the theme of a VGR movie be? they got home, so what's the 'motivation' for one? I thought they managed to end VGR on a good note, without killing any of the characters (lol, unlike ENT). Whoever voted for STV either missed the choice button by mistake or is being a wise-a$$!

I'd say Voyage Home for the sheer humor. Also, you can't mess with a Keptin Kerk. This is the only movie I know of where a demotion is a good thing!

Star Trek IV is easily my favorite movie with the original crew. But I'd have to say most or all of TNG movies I like better.

Almost a tie but had to go with Insurrection. Because when Data says "I have to go home now." and "Saddle up, lock and load."
