I didn't care much for Vic Fontaine. The kind of music he sang just wasn't my thing! I find the concept of a holodeck intriguing, most Trek episodes involving the holodeck, I don't like!

I'd love to be in a holodeck one day. I wonder if one day they'll invent something like a holodeck?

I do agree that being in a holodeck would be a lot of fun to the point of addiction maybe.....

There's a joke about that at the end of "Trekkies"...

I think the first (no, second, for sure) holo-program I would make would be a kill quark program.
Imagine running around DS9 hunting Quark with a chain saw...

I think another fun holo-deck program would be make Quark bankrupt so he will be begging with a tin cup on the promenade! Some episodes as a whole were not among the worst, but had some bad scenes and side plots in them!

I admit I didn't find TOS to be anything special, but it is good to fall asleep to. That soothing voice of Kirk's one word at a time speech, and the doctor sounding more and more tired as he said, "He is dead,Jim."

I never really liked TOS either but I think that it is because I did not grow up with it like many of the other trekkies here. I was brought up with tng and then went on to voyager and ds9

I watched the repeats of TOS as a kid. I was mostly into TNG though.

I was VOY kid myself! Never saw TOS as a child, but saw some of TNG...I'm watching repeats on Virgin1 at the moment.
