I was just trying to think of some of McCoy's good lines. Like, "Just once, I'd like to land somewhere and say Behold! I am the Archangel Gabriel..."

I've been trying to think of some of Scotty's good lines, but it seems like most of his were in the movies --
"The more they overthink the plumbing, the easier it is to stop up the drain."

I would say that Spock and Dr McCoy had the best lines, followed by Kirk and Mr Scott. In one episode, and I think it was "The Trouble With Tribbles" That Dr McCoy and Spock were in a conversation about somethings, mainly the tribble situation, that Mr Spock said to Dr McCoy referring to the tribbles....."At least they have one redeeming Quality, they don't talk too much."

I just remembered another good line by Uhura. In "The Naked Time", when Sulu was running around the bridge with a sword, and he grabbed her by the waist and said, "Aha! Fair maiden!" And she shot back, "Sorry, neither."

I remember another good line by Mr Spock. Kirk and Spock were down on a planet in a system that 2 planets had been at war with each other for centuries and was fought by computers. As Spock went to do a Vulcan nerve pinch on a guard, He said "There is a multi legged creature crawling on your shoulder."

In "Bread and Circuses", they were on that Roman planet, accosted by a group of escaped slaves. Maximus pointed to the lovely pointed aural lobes on either side of Spock's head and asked, "What do you call those?" Spock said, "I call them ears."

Okay, here's another good one: "Nowhere am I so desperately needed as among a shipload of illogical humans." ---Spock in 'I, Mudd'

Also from "I, Mudd" -- "Logic is a little chirping bird, singing in the meadow. Logic is a wreath of pretty flowers that smell bad."

I had to pick Spock and McCoy. My third would be Scotty.

I know we've already quoted most of the really good lines. Can you think of another example?

Here is one with from Spock: "Fascinating is a word I use for the unexpected. In this case, I should think "interesting" would suffice." in 'The Squire of Gothos'
