This was one of my favorite episodes of enterprise. Enterprise is trying to get to a conference with the Xindi to try and stop them from destroying earth. They go through a heavily guarded corridor, a short cut, and get sent back in time...I think it was 117 years. The crew of the enterprise nx01 meet their descendent's on another enterprise nx01. The one that got sent back that first time going through the corridor. The only original crew member alive is an elderly T'Pol. It was an interesting one time time loop because the second time enterprise went through they didn't get sent back in time. More on this later.

I didn't particularly like this one because to me it's an example of "Enterprise" (the series) relying too much on time travel stories to keep people interested. And I thought some of the crew were too morbidly interested in what their counterparts did later (who "hooked up" with who and so on).

Atoz. It is only normal to be curious about such things. I would be! Perhaps because of low rarings to try and save or prolong the show, they came up with these story plots. They should have been more creative in writing better stories. I can think of many good ideas they could have used for a story ,but it seems sometimes their writers lacked imagination. Budgeting could have been a likely issues as well. I did like the story, but if it were up to me ,I would have made it better and closed up loose ends.

Atoz. It is only normal to be curious about such things. I would be! I don't think I would. Once an alternate time line forks off, that other Atoz would be faced with different choices. As far as I am concerned, he would be a completely different person. I might be mildly curious about what choices he made, but not to the extent the characters in this episode seemed to be. [As far as problems of "budgets" or "writers lacking imagination", I try hard not to let those considerations effect my judgment of a story. I try to treat episodes as if they were log entries, relating actual events.]

Atoz, we don't always agree and its ok. I can be a bit over critical at times trying to explain things about a story.

Don't worry andrew, I liked it too, but more for the action then the storyline. I Love star-ship battles!
