Let's see, there was "The Outrageous Okona", "The Schizoid Man", "Unnatural Selection", "A Matter of Honor", "The Measure of a Man", "The Dauphin", "The Royale", "The Icarus Factor", "Pen Pals", "Peak Performance"...

People hate change, had Pulaski remained throughout the series her character would have grown and people would have forgotten about Crusher. As for medical ability, Dr Crusher's character was very similar to Bones, totally pointless, Spock had a greater medical knowledge than Bones just as Data did with Crusher. Pulaski gets my vote and not just because she was absolute babe in her TOS episode

I certainly don't agree that doctors are pointless, Dan. I don't know how you could think that Spock had more medical knowledge than McCoy. And as for Data, he may be able to look things up in his database, but that's a long way from having the experience to practice medicine.

Ok maybe pointless was a bit of a harsh word to use I'll agree with you on that one, but season 2 was pretty bad, apart from 'The Measure Of A Man' and 'Peak Performance' it didn't offer much.

That's certainly a matter of taste, all right. As I remember, I originally found the first season pretty dull. It wasn't until the second season that I started taking an interest in it. Maybe that's why I like Pulaski.
