I enjoyed the movies but the books are the best man, i'm an HP fan myself.

In a very few cases, the screenwriter managed to improve on the book, but overall I'd have to agree with you. The books are much better, because they develop the characters more.

I have to admit I wasn't as thrilled by the last two movies I saw, "The Order of the Phoenix" and "The Half-Blood Prince". They seem to cut out all the fun parts when they make these movies. Has anyone seen "The Deathly Hallows"?

Things that don't fit with the books like the fire at the Burrow and Ginny in the Room of Hidden Things. You're talking about the game obviously, but the attack on The Burrow was in the movie too. I rushed back to my bookshelf and hunted all over the place to find that scene in the book. It didn't happen in the book, but I guess for the movie they wanted to underscore how dangerous things were getting to be.
