I liked the Soval character quite a bit. He was better as a Vulcan Character than any other Vulcan in Enterprise!

Ambassador Soval? I generally didn't have that high an opinion of him [as a character]. He seemed to obstructive, just for the sake of it.

Soval was obstructive, but this was the attitude of Vulcans toward Humans in this era. They with held technolgy from them until late in the series.

They never seemed to accept that human's emotionalism wasn't a weakness. If you look at it from their point of view you can see why - they chose logic over emotions because of their extremely violent past. Humans must have seemed to them like they were years ago. Also we had only just emerged from a violent period of history - we're only a generation or two from WW3 at this point if I remember rightly?
