Did you see this? I think it's great. Good mix of action and humor.

I don't know, to me it felt more like Men in Black than SHIELD I remember from the comic books. I wanted to see the SHIELD commando uniforms. And personally I am just fed up to the teeth with all this government coverup conspriacy crap everywhere you look. And where were Hydra and AIM? And then there's the tired old cliche of the supergenius computer hacker and general pain in the butt who instead of being thrown in jail where she belongs gets to be part of the team! Well I could keep listing all the little things I didn't like about it, but that's not fair. Any of them alone wouldn't have spoiled the show for me, it's just all of them together that ruins the soup. I'll probably give it another chance next Tuesday.

The second epi was a little nyah. the mission is to evaluate an unknown object found in Peru but the good guys turn out to be badguys and they have to eacape their own airplane. Maybe it'll get beter.

It was a bit disappointing that nobody seemed to care much what the thing was, they just had to have it. But what bothered me most, as a Trekkie, was the fact that the "science" the two techies speak is just gibberish of the purest ray serene. I'm afraid they just lost me.

Third epi isn't much better. Alot of gobblegook about a new element called "gravitonium" or something and some billionaire getting his hands on a nuclear physicist who's so smart, SHIELD moves him around in an armored car! Give me a break!

I saw that one, too. Definitely not improving! The climactic scene was just a chance to show off special effects. I felt no sense of danger at all. So what? And it looks like Skye is going to be the main focus of every episode, so the other characters are just cardboard cutouts. It's a shame because it WAS such a great idea for a series.

I'll admit to being a bit disappointed so far, but I'm willing to stick through at least the first season until I give up on a show (doesn't happen often). Sometimes it takes a while for everything to come together. Coulson is enough for me to keep tuning in for now.

Did anyone see episode four? I missed it because I was watching this documentary about superheroes on PBS. video.pbs.org/program/superheroes-neverending-story/And before you ask, it was boring. I don't know how you can make a program about superheroes dull, but they managed it.

I missed epi four because I had a date that night. Epi five wasn't too bad though. They've kept us guessing about Skye and what she's REALLY up to but they're starting to reveal some more. The humor has been kind of lacking though.

I caught about the second half of episode five. It would have been nice if they could have shown how they managed to storm the building and still let Raina just slip through their fingers.

Believe it or not. I saw the sixth episode last night, "Fzzt!". I have to say it started out pretty good and then kind of did a slow nose dive. Stories about alien viruses are always pretty dull to me, because all you can do is wait and see if they find a cure or not. Is it just me, or does it not make a great deal of sense to dump an infected person in the ocean?
