Hey guys, I'm Ender. Just wanting to find some like minded trekkies out there. I used to watch TNG with my dad when I was a kid, but have recently re-fallen in love with the series! Thank you netflix marathoning. Anyway, excited to join some discussions!

Welcome aboard, Mr. Ender! I apologize for not saying hello sooner, but I've been having trouble logging in lately. (I suspect that either the Tholians or the Gorn are conducting subspace experiments in our sector which are interfering with communications, but it seems to be clear now.)
So you like TNG! I don't have Netflix myself, but I watch on BBC America. Which character is your favorite, or the character whom you identify with most?

Hey no worries! Login issues happen, especially when the Gorn are involved.
Yeah, TNG is what sparked my love for Trek. Of that series I'd have to say I'm a big fan of Riker. I mean who doesn't love Picard, and I'd follow that man anywhere, but the loyalty of Riker is what I like.
And netflix is awesome. I watched every episode of every network aired Trek series and I think all the movies on there. Needless to say I've become quite the marathoner. Now I want to go though and dissect the episodes like some of the guys on here do.

Ah Riker! He's often overlooked because he's not as colorful as some of the other people, but he's a solid, stand-up guy. Do you read the Star Trek novels by any chance? There's a series that follows Riker's adventures as captain of the USS Titan. I have to say up front that I don't read them myself. I've read one or two and they don't really "feel" like Star Trek to me. But a lot of people like them.
