Zack in reality, if you could be on a space craft traveling close to the speed of light, time for you would move much slower than for those on earth. In a sense you could travel to the future in this way.

I Agree On This Too. As It Is Fascinating!

The time that goes by on a fast moving ship doesn't slow down that much until near light speed is achieved.

True, Yes, Unless You have A "Anti Slowing Warp Speed Field" Or An ASWSF Around The ship Preventing It From Slowing As It approaches Light Speed, *Winks* As This Is Fun Too, As I Have A Natural Field Around Me That Does This Too, So I Actually Go Faster Still!

leopardessgirl ,I never thought of that way to compensate for the time dilation at high sub light speeds.

It Is A Good Thing To Have. I Should Know! We Have A Thing Called A TDC ( Time Dilation Compensator) It Eliminates The Affect. All Ships Have One Aboard.

To get back to the topic, I wonder what some one would do with Data's head if they found it in the cavern long before the 24th century? I suppose it would depend on who and when. If some one did find it, they either left it or put it back.

I Suppose They Might Look It Over and Put It Back. If It were Me I'd Keep It and Try To Figuar Out How It works!

Leopardessgirl. I would do the same thing you would do and in the context of the trek timeline, if I could figure out whats in Data's head, and how to use the information inside, I would use this info to get off this planet and take some people with me to the stars.

Glad you agree leopardessgirl! It is a good idea, but would take a lot of time and effort for it to succeed!
