I know about the Array, and all that, but I'm wondering how many chances to get home Voyager has thrown away by the beginning of seson 7?

I can think of 3 already, and I'm at the beginning of season 3.

Darn Janeway and her morals anyways! Some of the moves with I agree with although they would have been hard to make. I guess when you're up against the wall, the real test of character begins.

She did what she could. She tried her best to not break Starfleet rules and regulations and still managed to get her crew home. That deserves all the kudos in the book.

How did they get home anyway? I haven't seen the final episode. Now that would be spoiling it for you! You know we can't do that...

Neither Have I, but I dont want it ruined! But I do know that Janeway had a chance with Q, once with the wormhole that the two ferangi collapsed, and a chance when she had the Quantam Slip Stream Drive Online, Come on if one slipstream wont do it, lets make a few and keep collapsing them.

I would have to say that no matter how tempting it may be to have a way to get home, if it in any way broke my morals or the Prime Directive I would rather not take it. The cost of the trouble I would be in with Starfleet when I got home, the embarrasment to my crew that could come, and the possibility of opening a chance for Delta Quadrant enemies to make it to the Alpha Quadrant is not worth getting hoe a few years earlier. Plus, as she pointed out in the last episode, the crew liked being together and getting the chance to bond with eachother, and I think that made the trip worhtwhile, knowing that you had people to be with on board (Neelix had Kes, Torres had Paris, Seven had Chakotay, and even Janeway had a few loves along the way...)

I'm glad you feel that way. What about the final episode, "End Game" (which I finally saw, by the way)? What do you think of Admiral Janeway's decision to break the Temporal Prime Directive by helping them along?

I think Admiral Janeway took a mighty big risk, travelling back in time against Starfleet orders. If the Borg had been able to assimilate the technology in her shuttlecraft, there would have been no stopping them. And her reason for doing that was just to save the lives of a few crew and to keep Tuvok from going insane. Admittedly she was close to him and felt responsible, but in my opinion it wasn't worth the risk. Especially when you consider the cynical attitude she displayed about her younger self.

Well, atleast her actions well reflected the truth that people can act rashly from guilt

I thought so too, at first. Then it occured to me that maybe her main goal all along was to place herself in a position where she could upload that virus into the Borg collective. If it really did wipe out the entire collective, wouldn't that have been worth the risk?
