Chakotay, because he's Native American.

Well i think chackotay character was not so detailed like others(okay there was few episodes of him, but at the end chakotay was a bit in the background, even the relationship with seven... i like the character, but they should work more on him or make more episode of his personality...), but janeway character is good i think, becouse she is not an usual captain (but i think she's show some similarities of Picard, like temper and relentless in some thing, but not so much) but shes "mother of all people on board" feeling, i liked most XD Or the episodes with Q... XD

Chakotay did lack a lot of development.

The Doctor. <3 I found it funny(And mean ) when in the first few seasons people just kept turning him off, muting him, and whatever. He was really sour at being on a lot of the time at first, but then after a while he didn't want to be turned off. He had a big ego, but that just made him more interesting, especially because he was a hologram. I think a halarious episode with him was when he went to save Zimmerman's life. ;D And I always thought that if a name was ever given to him, his initals should be EMH. (Like, Evan Marcus Hathaway or something. )

the doctor, his sense of humour and ironic approach is a fantastic idea for a hologram, he is almost representitive of modern computers, sighing at humans!

Where my answer before was Seven of Nine, I can safely say it is now also the "Doctor", perhaps just the Doctor. I have always liked the two, but retrospect often gives me great insight. And the character I find to be most memorable is the Doctor.

I voted B'elanna, but I like Chakotay just as much. B'elanna is a nice female character who isn't as helpless and womanly as many others can be, and Chakotay is just like a good man should be :3 I like every episode that focuses on him.
I'm a bit sad Harry wasn't on the voting poll. At times, he is my favourite. Even though he always seems to get the role of Captain Obvious ._.

I have a soft spot for Tom Paris for some reason. I like him more as the show goes on and we see him develop. I know what you mean about Harry, he can be really nice - sometimes he reminds me of myself actually - but he gets given the stupidest things to do and say by the writers.

I used to like Tom Paris a bit more. But he's kind of a clichée character. He's had a rough life and now he's the hero many times to make up for it, plus he's handsome and popular with ladies and... meh. I can't wait to get to the episodes where he and B'elanna get together! I don't remember what season it's in, so don't spoil me Poor Harry. But I like his character development a lot. Already in 3rd season he's gone from being the youngest, newest, most naive boy to a pretty wise character.

I really like Janeway even though she can be so self-righteous sometimes. However, the person that I most relate to is B'Elanna Torres but I really understand her.

The only thing I don't like about Chakotay is he is so eager to give up. I do believe if he were the captain the voyager crew would have just settled on the first M-class planet they could find.

Chakotay is a person known to run in bad situations because the Maquis, that's all they knew what to do: hit and run. If Chakotay decided to stay in Starfleet, I am sure he would make a good captain. But he has the necessary skills to lead, and running isn't always the bad solution.
