Bridge Commander.
One of the best starship simulators out there. Plus a ton of mods are available for it on the net.

I like the few FPSs that are out. EF1, EF2, etc. They all have cheap graphics, choppy dialogue, and horrible cinematics (not to mention crappy plot), but they sure are wacky enough to be moderatly amusing.

I'm playing the newest game, Star Trek:Encounters and as far as games go, it's not too bad. Arcade like but missions are a little difficult especially when looking for the Xindi warp trail. It took about 20 minutes before I found anything. I haven't played it since then but plan to pick it up again later this week.
The one I'm really looking forward to is Star Trek:Tactical Assault for the DS. Should be lots of fun!

I am interested in star trek PC games and on-line games. I don't have an ex box but can get one. Any more good advice beyond what is posted here. Where can I get these games at and what are the price ranges?

haha, I'm so old school that the only games I have are board or card games. Star Trek games that I have: Tribbles (a card game) and I do have a board game that you have to answer ST trivia but I rarely play this one because I'm pretty much the only fan so it's hard to find players.

I have an old Starfleet Combat Simulator board game, which is easy to play, but I have the same problem as Jadis, no one to play it with.
I also have a PC game (in my closet) called Starfleet Academy, but it stinks! The first scenario has you blundering around a mine field trying to destroy the mines but capture the control ship. I can't figure out how to make the sensors work, so apparently all you can do is literally blunder around until you practically run into the ships. Then you can't tell whether your phasers are set on "destroy" or "disable", so you end up destroying the thing you're supposed to capture half the time. THEN, once you've disabled it, the scenario requires you to warp to another planet and do the same thing, then come back to pick up the ship you disabled earlier, IF you can still find it! And it won't let you go on to other scenarios until you've completed the mind field! I was so frustrated with the stupid thing I deleted it from my computer.

^^^ haha, I have two old PC games in my closet too. Let's see, one is called Star Trek New Worlds and the other is called Dominion Wars Star Trek Deep Space Nine. I never played any of them. Actually, I've never even put the CDs in my computer so I can't tell you what the quality of the games are. My brother in law gave these to me, oh, about 5-6 years ago. Maybe one day I'll play 'em. I'm just not one for PC games.

I really liked the old "A Final Unity" game. Never beat it, as I was a kid who got stuck. Now nothing plays DOS games.
