the solution was simply auto-distruct the weapon-ship, so every thing would have turned normal...........

In the end it was the right choice to make in the destruction of the time ship. The leader was re-united with his wife he had so longed for and everything was back to normal. All those attempts to restore the time line over many years had failed.

It was one of my favorite episodes. I have said before that I like trek stories that involve alternate realities and time travel.

One of my favorite episodes! One thing I found a bit odd was that in a different episode, "Before and After" it shows Kes being a part of it,and what not. So they sort of played it twice. Once with it taking place in a different episode, and then as a regular episode 2 parter when Seven was part of the crew. Very interesting. What I want to do though is compare the numbers that Kes and Seven got from one of the lodged torpedoes to see if tis the same frequency. A little late on this, but that's what I get for joining late. Actually, "Before and After" was supposed to foreshadow "Year of Hell Parts I and II." However, Jennifer Lien (Kes) left the show before they were going to film it. So they had to change the events to reflect Seven of Nine being present and not Kes. If I remember correctly, Kes was supposed to touch the device covered in radiation which started her living her life in reverse. But since she was gone and Seven was there, that unfortunate event fell to Seven. It was a very cool idea but unfortunately it didn't work out as they had planned.

I found it kinda funny how the krennem didn't figure out destroying there ship would make things go back too how they originally were. Poor guys going centuries when they could have had it all changed back if they figured out destining the ship would have done that straight away.

It may not have occurred to them because it could have no altered the timeline the way they wished and self-preservation stepped in.
Also, even with Kes gone weren't they still warned about the Krenim or were the events of "Before and After" made null and void?

They were still warned about the Krenim. The events of "Before and After" weren't null and void like the alternate future in "All Good Things..." was. Rather, Seven took Kes' place in the episode, whatever it was she was supposed to do (I think it involved being hit by radiation from a torpedo from the Krenim ship or something like that, which was originally supposed to trigger Kes' living her life backward in time).

I just think they forgot about the Krenim in the months that happened prior too this event otherwise they might have thought twice about entering that region of space in the first place.

Seems odd that they'd forget something like that doesn't it?
