I did not quite understand this episode. Was interesting but Jeri Ryan's line as Seven; "State your intentions." was kind of stupid. It was obvious that Kes was there to destroy Voyager. It was cool to see Jen come back, but the episode was a bit odd in my opinion. Your thoughts?

Kes came back because she was angry with Voyager to destroy it, but later changed her mind. I don't remember too many details since it has been awhile that I have seen this episode.

I know that much. As if you read my post fully... I remember Tuvok's mental abilities at work and the older Kes requesting safe passage for two to Ocompa from a Vadeain (sp?) as well as Kes recording a hologram of herself to stop her older self from harming Voyager. It was just odd.

I quite liked this episode, it was a typical 'Kes' story I think, in regards to her mental abilities which always caused her trouble and continued to do so, though at the end of the episode it didn't take much to convince her to change her mind did it? Seemed far too easy when she watched the recorded hologram. But as strange and maybe far-fetched as some of the storyline seemed, it was still an enjoyable episode. It reminds me of the season 3 episode where Kes wakes up an old woman and lives her life in reverse, its that kind of story ;D

Personally, I enjoyed the episode. Everything seemed normal to me. Kes started having problems with her mental abilities and had to leave the ship at a earlier date because of that. Naturally, she would return to seek revenge out of anger because she continued to have mental problems, but it was turned around. Seven, always said "State your intentions". It was the only thing she knew to say probably. That is my two sense worth on the episode.
