This looks kind of strange. Is it primary music or what? Why is called "Land of the Banned", for instance?

This looks kind of strange. Is it primary music or what? Why is called "Land of the Banned", for instance? Those are good questions. It is primarily a music forum, but it has a very unique and interesting history. It was made by Dizzy, who like myself, is an ex-member of the forum called "acidrap.com". The title is due to the fact that it was intended that members who were banned from acidrap.com could post there instead, thus Land of the Banned. Acid rap is a genre of hip-hop but unlike most of it's associated genres, it is quite unique. We now have members there who have no idea who Esham (who started the genre) is or what Acid Rap is. This is due to the fact that the forum has also become home of the Juggalo Holocaust.P.S. I did not make the site and have based this post on my personal conclusion only. Perhaps I should ask Dizzy for the 'official history'.H+

My taste in music generally runs more to classical and oldies.

Then I am certain that you have already replied to my post in the 'favourite music' thread. Do you like Richard Wagner also? I am more partial to Opera then classical but I still aprreciate it. What are some of your favourites? H+

I'm not a big fan of opera, although I like some of Wagner's musical themes. [And by the way, one of my favorite jokes from Douglas Adams' novel "The Long Dark Tea-Time of the Soul" concerns a character regaling his apartment building with a thumping bass guitar rendition of Siegfried's Rhine Journey, "just to prove it could be done." ] And I like some of Rossini's overtures. No, I'm more into chamber music, baroque stuff like Bach, Handel, Vivaldi.

It sounds like you have excellent taste in music. I haven't heard much Baroque with the exception of Baroque opera.
Is there an on-line video of this humurous performance?
