I do tend to be more routine oriented than spontaneous and plan things out to the last detail, but when I am alone what I do depends on several things....the time of year, the weather, the time of day or night, my energy level, my ability to focus on things, and my mood. I don't get lonely all that often, even though I spend a lot of time alone. I do like the company of good friends and family members!

I have a question...do you count being alone as: 1. simply having no one around 2. having no one around and nobody to talk to on the internet/phone 3. simply feeling lonely 4. feeling lonely and not having anyone around 5. feeling lonely and having no one to talk to on the internet/phone. 6. other.
you know what...I think I could turn this into a poll! I love polls!

When I'm alone I usually play with my cats, watch movies (not just "Dracula", but all kinds), watch Star Trek, read, or even try my hand at writing my own stories.
And BTW, Luckyman, since you like Dracula so much, maybe you can explain to me why vampires have become such a common fixture in pop culture lately. I started a thread on this topic some time ago ("Things that go bump in the night"), but got very few answers.

Lately when I'm alone I either catch up on DVR'd shows or go online. I've spent hours just in the last couple days trying to improve this place.

I'm a reader and sometimes I watch Star Trek on DVD...okay, okay, and I watch other shows too. ....sometimes I nap....eat....clean house....do laundry.....enjoy a nice cup of coffee....read (oh yeah, I said that one already)...and surf the net....go for a walk (yeah, right!)....and listen to music....I do lots of things when I am alone. Mostly because I live by myself

Jadis. It sounds like we have similar lives, since I live alone as well!

I will hold you to that Varel!! ;D
I admit I do spend a lot of time on the computer on-line on this forum, Face book and a few others, watching TV, doing projects both in and out doors, talking on the phone with friends or family.
