I really don't like how DS9. I don't think that Captain Sisko should of left his son just to go off with the prophets and to leave his wife when shes pregnent! Its just not right. His mother may of been half prophet but thats no reason to leave every thing you've ever known. And Odo goes back to the founders, Worf becomes a federation ambassodor to Kronos(which i can understand) and Chief O'Brien goes back to earth to become head of Engineering. The family breaks up and I don't like that.

things change regardless of how much you like something. in order for them to move on with their careers/lives, change is inevitable. With Sisko, he made a choice, and now everyone must live with that choice.

Sisko had no choice. Remember that he defied the will of the Prophets and they said there would be a penance?

By generating a Chroniton field around the station that may protect him from the Prophets and Pah Wraith, however i think the Bajorans might object

I respectfull disagree my friend. DS9 ended on a somber, but beautiful note. It was fitting that the darkest of Treks end like that. A happy ending wouldn't fit with that world would it? Sisko didn't really leave Kassidy and Jake. He had to go back with the Prophets because they had a lot to teach him. As a Starfleet officer, he joined so he could experience the true unknowns of the universe. Who knows what incredible things the Prophets will teach him. He told Kassidy he would return one day, though.
As for Odo rejoining the Great Link. He has been fighting that losing battle since day one of finding out he was a Founder. He can teach the Dominion the lessons he learned and reform an institution that has been fascist and xenophobic. Imagine having the change to transform an evil empire into an instrument of good? Odo could instill the very justice that he loved on DS9.
As for Worf, that was another battle he kept fighting. Klingon warrior or Starfleet officer? I guess he is still fighting that battle as Nemesis shows him donning the uniform once again. Personally, I think he belongs with Starfleet but that is debatable.
As for O'Brien leaving. Yeah, it was sad but also fitting. He was a family man and his priority was raising his family and protecting them. A difficult thing to do on a station like DS9. Not to mention ,he might have felt he was just too old to fight battles anymore. It was bittersweet that he left his best friend, Bashir, to go to Earth.
I know you didn't mention Garak, but his ending was also sad. He finally got to return to his home world, free of his exile, but his home world is in complete ruins. He has nothing left to return to.
It was sad, I'll agree, but I thought it was a fitting ending for a show like DS9.

I have been dying for a DS9 tv movie. I know they won't make a movie about it. I'd love to see the cast come back for one more adventure and Sisko's newfound knowledge.

It would be great no, andrewlee?
If you didn't like the ending to DS9, you should also check out the books. I think the crew come together for a few adventures (I maybe wrong though. I don't read the books).
