In my late teens many years ago, I tried to play the guitar, but never was any good at it. My musical ability on a scale of zero to ten...being the highest is about a one! I can't even whistle. I tried to whistle at a black lab that belongs to a neighbor, and lets just say Mr Data is a lot better than me!!!!! lol

Okay, I could do a decent remix on Fast Tracker II
You had up to 32 trackers, were you added .WAV files, and you were able to regulate everything about the sound of that .WAV file. That mean't you could use the right sounding .WAV file to create a piano play or a drum track.
Unfortunately that program doesn't work after windows 98.

You're more dedicated than I!
I play the clarinet, recorder(s) and I sing.
Descant and tenor recorders have the same fingering, the tenor is just bigger. And the treble has the same fingering as the clarinet!
I can play notes on the guitar but not chords yet, I can play simple tunes on the piano but I haven't quite got the hang on playing both hands seperately.
Edit: That tracking program sounds a little like the composing program I used at school for my GCSEs except it directly translated the notes into the instruments...

I'm going to be doing my grade three oboe royal acadamy exam soon at school! I'm worried! I'm quite good on the recorder ive even composed some pieces. I like the soprano recorder best. On the piano i got to grade two but then found it really really boring so now i just play the odd piece now and then. :)I'm joining two orchestras on the oboe this year the exeter youth orchestra and the exeter school concert orchestra. And I'm in one of the five choirs at my school, middle school choir. I like singing. Too bad everyone else in my family exept my moms side is completly tone death!

I learned to play the recorder when I was in the Society for Creative Anachronism. I don't play very well though, and don't read music very well either. I mostly play by ear, which is easy on a recorder.

I actually learnt to read music with the recorder when I was about six, I remember playing occasionally in school assemblies. It was only a small school!
