I can't wait to see this episode. Most of you will be able to see it tonight, while I have to wait until Sunday night. Does anyone know if the regular crew will play any part in this?

Well, I enjoyed both episodes, but I give a slight edge to the first one. I think it would have been better had they used both crews, but I guess that would be different from what history says. I'm guessing TOS was the first crew to actually meet people from the mirror universe.
I have to say this though...if the mirror universe had a constellation class ship at that point in time, there's no reason why they would still have the same style ships 100 years into the future. It may have been more accurate with the timeline if the Defiant had been destroyed rather than the Enterprise.

that episode was killer! the defiant looked really good. the end was the only part that was dissapointing though, it ends w/o the different story threads being finished. Reed? Phlox? The Defiant? the emorer? T'pol? what happens?! oh well, i guess they left it up to the imagination. Cool episode! missed part one though

it was the same class as the original Enterprise..the ISS Enterprise found it in a docking bay in an asteroid and they stole it after the ISS Enterprise was destroyed

I think the Enterprise crew should have kept their original uniforms. The TOS ones just look so plain.

It's obvious that the brass (Berman, Braga) made a mistake with this series. They shouldn't have gone into the past. Keep in mind I'm only saying this thinking that a new series would have stood a better chance if it took place right after Voyager ended. I personally liked Enterprise, but it's just too hard to explain some things. There's no way they go from the NX-01 to the Constellation class design. The design of the NX-01 looks more futuristic, along with the uniforms.

The Constitution is what you mean, lol. Meh, the series was half good...it had more "back and forth" stuff with the timelines...and T'pol+Trip wasn't really necessary (to me it wasn't). They had everything that a Future/post-nemesis series had, but what did B&B do? they f**ked it up the ol' butt hole and did a prequel. B&B had enough to do with Trek already, let some one else take it.

I sincerely hope another series comes along in the near future. But we need to see some fresh faces take over, otherwise we might be looking at another disaster.

I only saw this episode last week (as the Sci-fi Channel is running Enterprise), and I did not like it much. Unless I missed something, the entire story takes place in the "mirror" universe. Since the characters are all "evil" counterparts to our Enterprise crew, I found it extremely difficult to CARE what happened to them.
When the boarded the Defiant, I couldn't help being reminded of the Deep Space Nine episode where Sisko and the others time-travelled and ended up in the middle of "The Trouble with Tribbles". This may be a sexist comment, but I couldn't help but notice that Dax looks a lot better in miniskirt that T'Pol!

I just saw "In a Mirror Darkly" last night, and it struck me as even worse than the first time I saw it. The first time, I missed parts of it, but the general effect was not too impressive. This time I saw it all the way through. I have to say the entire episode was stomach-turning, with no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I can't imagine what made them think it was a good idea.
