While I was in the hospital over the xmas hoilday I had meet this deaf girl in the bed next to me. I knew she couldn't hear me when the nurse had told me that she was deaf. Yet I tired to say hello by writeing it down on paper and giveing it to her. In this way she started to teach me how to sign so I could say a few things to her like morning, please and thank you. As well as other words that are in the sign languge. I have had great fun learning from her and can now sign a bit. She also gave me a website that teaches one to sign and I have been doing much better in signing. So what have you guys learned this year?

It sounds like you had fun with your room mate Melody. Sign language is a good thing to learn as with any other spoken/written language!
The day I stop learning is the day I die! I learn so many things, I hardly know where to begin. Besides sci-fi on TV, I watch a lot of educational shows. I also read about various things!

I learned why put things off for tomorrow when you can do them today. As well as I am a lot stronger then people realize I mean emotionally.

Year of the Tribble was the year the Klingon Empire exterminated and destroyed the tribble home-world. You know they were declared arch-enemy of the empire.

Lol!
I can tell you the next Year Of The Dragon is in two years. They rotate every 12 years and I was born in the Year of the Dragon. Two years time is the year I turn 24. Logical!
Edit: Holy mother of...I'm the same age as the actress who played Molly O'Brien - there's literally thirteen days difference. She was born the 15th July '88 and I was born on the 28th.

Except a little weird when you look at the pictures of a cute little girl and a part of me goes "Huh? Was I REALLY that small when DS9 was on?" (Answer: yes!)
I've learned that I might be a good enough Historian to go to King's, I learned that much as I like Bath Uni it's not good enough for me (according to my History teacher!), I've learned that choosing a university is NOT EASY. ARGH!

Good point I can't remember how small or how big I was let alone how young I was when it first came out. I just remember I loved it. I was happy that something came out that I loved as did my dad. I also know how hard it is to chose a collage. I never made it good enough for uni only for collage. Then again I found that hard to chose one that I could grow in, and when I did chose one I found out when I had left it and got the grades that I needed for my jobs. That I was sent to get a reward for being the bright one in the class and doing three differant types of learning in one big go and comeing out on top. So it was really great.
