Sorry. I stopped watching after "Star Trek: Generations is the stupidest movie ever made." Personally, Star Trek: Generations is my favorite Star Trek movie for so many reasons, and I loved all of the Next Generation movies. I'm sure he has his reasons for disliking it, but he's not someone I want to listen to.

I thought Generations and Frist Contact were the only good TNG movies.

I actually liked "Insurrection" and "Nemesis" better. In "Generations", the whole Nexus thing was too confusing. And never really liked the Borg.

I didn't even bother to watch the Youtube thing, if that's what you're talking about. No disrespect intended toward Katara, but I figure if you want to discuss a topic, you should put the argument in your own words.

I liked the even numbered Star Trek movies the best. I think the odd numbered ones could have been better!

To me they were okay but I'm still a TOS fan and I enjoyed those movies better...all except #1 because although the story could of been interesting, I don't think it was made well.

I liked the even numbered Star Trek movies the best. I think the odd numbered ones could have been better! There is some truth in that, then again, I really liked Generations and The Search for Spock. But I disagree, I think Insurrection and Nemesis were the weaker films in the TNG films but there are some good things about them.

I guess the big thing I didn't like about "Generations" was the Nexus itself. There doesn't seem to be any explanation for what it is or what it does. It's just a plot device to allow Picard and Kirk in the same movie. And you're telling me that Jean-Luc Picard is the only person in the entire history of the universe to successfully resist the temptation to stay there?
But yes, it has it's good points too.

yeah it does raise some questions about that movie, especially the fact that they destroy the Duras sisters ship in one shot, even though back in the day they faced them and they always escaped.
the nexus could of been explained in more detail, and it just gave Shatner another reason to be in star trek again.
