This topic is for all your STar Trek actors/actresses sightings. Like Wil Wheaton was on Eureka this past week. BOy little Wesley had sure gotten fat over the years!

I saw him on that, and I would simply NOT have recognized him if I hadn't seen his name on the opening credits! And the beard!
Let me think... a few months back, Jeri Ryan was guest starring on a USA series called "Leverage". Did anyone see that?

I just saw Connor Trineer on an episode of Criminal Minds. Season 4, Episode 3 "Minimal Loss". Reid-iculously pleased. Also Wil Wheaton is well worth a follow on Twitter. Edit: Talking of Wil Wheaton, Criminal Minds. Season 4, Episode 4 "Paradise".

Last weekend. I didnt like it much because it was a modern dress thing set in some eastern European country. Macbeth had a horrible mustache trying to make him look like Stalin. Yuck!

Modern dress isn't necessarily bad when it comes to Shakespeare. I saw a modern dress version of Hamlet once which was pretty good. It was set in New York, Denmark was a corporation, and Hamlet's father was the CEO. When it came to the play, he didn't bother with traveling actors, he just created a multi-media presentation. And after the sword fight, Laertes just pulled a GUN on him! It was wild.

Sounds awesome. I reckon Shakespeare can be done using anything BUT it's got to be done well. If it's half-baked, it just gets confusing.

This one had a lot of great actors, so it's well worth looking for. Sam Shephard as Hamlet's father. Ethan Hawk as Hamlet. I forgot the name of the actor who played Claudius, but he was the lead actor in Twin Peaks, Kyle something. Oh, and get this -- Bill Murray as Polonius!
Oh, but now we're straying WAY off topic...

Here's the question: do you plan to watch either of these shows just because a Star Trek actor is going to be on it?

I can't blame you for that. I don't watch the Syfy channel much anymore either.
