*lol* Laughs To Self, Oh That Reminds Me So Much! I Can Do This, But It Can Have Consequences Too! I Loved That Episode Where Q Brought His Son Aboard Voyager As It Was Interesting.

My views on Q would have to be:
Obnoxious Self Centered (Most times) Funny Annoying (If I am right, that would be obnoxious???) Serious (Tapestry, and a few others I can not remember the name of) Possessive???
<<Note- I am not 100% sure of a few words and their exact meanings- so I am sorry if I am repeating the same word>>

MGomez, you are doing just fine! Q is also egotistical, arrogant, sarcastic, cruel, talkative, helpful and a lot more. It all depends on which side of Q's personality is coming out in the situation!!

Q was one of my favourite characters just the way he would pop up every so often and he would help out in his own way aswell as being annoying and not very nice most of the time

He's like fingernails on a chalkboard.
Hey do you think he was very much like Trelane, The Squire of Gothos? From the original series.

I think originally he was intended to remind us of Trelane. Remember how when we first saw him he was dressed like Columbus, and talked in a very old-fashioned accent? But other than that, I don't really see that much of a resemblance (except that both of them were annoying). I think there's even a novel where both Trelane and Q appear. I didn't like it and didn't finish it, so I can't tell you much about it.

I remember the novel (not the title though). It was about an alternate universe, although it wasn't the canon mirror universe. In it Trelane was a member of the Q-continuum. And he was a pain in all their non-corporeal butts. He was responsible for causing the crew to end up in the alternate reality.* *In this alternate reality, Jack Crusher was alive and in command of the Enterprise with Picard as his first officer. But he and Beverly had divorced many years earlier when Wesley was killed in an accident when he was 5. Also this reality's Riker and Troi had married and had a son Tommy, but Riker had been in a Romulan (I think) POW camp for a long time.
