I've never played an online or computer ST game before.
I have played a few board games like: Tribbles and ST: The Game. I even have a card game but I never understood how to play that so I have a bunch of decks that I've never used. It seemed to confusing - you had to choose a planet, aliens, and things and then go "where no man has gone before" but it was beyond me.

Star Trek: Armada was great, but I'm a child of the 80's and grew up with Atari and Nintendo. There were two games I absolutely loved: One was Star Trek on the Nintendo. I enjoyed it. You got to explore several planets and engage in a battle with a Romulan Warbird. The final mission was even a sequel to "A Piece of the Action" where McCoy's communicator, having been left behind on the planet, changed the course of the planet's history and wound up being the reason for the death of the civilization. So you had to travel into the past to recover it. I thought that was great.
Also, there was a Star Trek: The Next Generation game for Sega Genesis that I loved. I don't remember many of the details but I do remember that it was a great game.
