Stargate has some great quotes and one-liners, doesn't it. One that particularly sticks with me is when Sen. Kinsey tells O'Neill he's going to make a formal complaint against him in the episode 2001. O'Neill says, "That's O'Neill with 2 "L's", at the same time he's holding up 3 fingers. I wonder sometimes if everybody got that.

We could probably have an entire thread just on O'Neill-isms. In the episode we were talking about the other day, "Crystal Skull", Jack pointed out to General Hammond that even if they brought Nick Ballard out to SG-1 and showed him the top secret Stargate, the man is in an asylum, Who's going to believe him? Hammond: "You walk a fine line, Colonel." O'Neill: "Thank you, sir."

Also, did you ever notice that O'Neill (or others) managed to sneak a Wizard of OZ reference into the episodes on a frequent basis?

I have noticed one or two, but frequently? Can't say I've noticed that. Could you give me some examples?

I'll have to go back and look through some episodes. One I'm sure of is 1969, when they come out of the gate far in the future and old Cassie has to send them back, He says "Auntie Em, Auntie Em".

In the episode "Seth", after then Captain Carter proves to be the only one of the team able to stop the Goa'uld, by using Selmak's hand device, O'Neill's comment is, "Hail Dorothy."
