I liked the Q episodes the best: Deja Q, Q-pid, Tapestry and True-Q, I also liked some others too: Data's Day, The Most Toys, Frame of mind, Journey's End and Eye of the Beholder. What are yours?

Oh, no! As I have mentioned before, I think "Q-pid" was one of the silliest episodes. I also didn't like "Tapestry" for the simple reason that I think it would take far more than just one small incident to change a person's entire life.
But I did like some of those episodes about Data that you mentioned, along with "The Measure of a Man", "Ensigns of Command", and the story about his daughter Lal (although I forget the title).
"Yesterday's Enterprise" was also one of my favorites. And "Galaxy's Child". And "Time's Arrow". Gosh, there's just so many!

I am going to say my least favorite episodes were the episodes when the holodeck malfunctioned, but as for a favorite... thats a hard choice... I'll get back to you on that.

"Offspring"! That's the title I was trying to remember. And "A Matter of Record", "Captain's Holiday", "Drumhead"....

If "Offspring" is the episode with Data's Child then that has to be my favorite.

That scene where Riker comes back and sees Lal in Ten Forward was priceless! "Hello, there, are you new here?" And she grabs him by the collar and gives him a kiss! "Commander Riker! Just what are your intentions towards my daughter?"

"I, Borg"? Is that the one where they found Hugh? Just last night I saw "Descent" (on the G4 channel) -- that was the episode where Lore had taken over that Borg ship that Hugh had "contaminated".

Here's a question I can't believe we haven't already discussed. In "I, Borg", Picard had the opportunity to introduce a virus into the Borg collective that would have (theoretically) stood a good chance of completely wiping them out. He was all set to do it until he realized that without the Borg subspace signal, Hugh was beginning to behave as an individual. Suddenly it became clear to him that destroying the Borg in that fashion would have been the same as genocide, so he held back.
My first impulse is to totally agree with Picard. It's one thing to defend yourself if attacked, but genocide is Wrong, no matter how you look at it. What do you think?

I understand and agree. It would have been a cool effort to rig the virus NOT to infect Hugh, but to infect all the others. Of course, you can 't really form a trusting relationship with an individual when you kill all of their family ..... it's a conundrum

As it turned out, it probably wouldn't have made a lot of difference. Hugh only "infected" the members of his own Cube, not the entire Borg collective.

Meh... I think the real reason that the writer didn't have picard kill the borg was so they could use the borg later...

"Writer?" What are you talking about? Are you by any chance implying that this didn't really happen, or that it was made up by some hack?
