My favorite episodes would have to be the Picard/Crusher episodes. I do like the others well, but that would be my pick.

Hmmm, I don't recall too many of those. The first one that springs to mind is the time they were joined together by those Kespret shackles, that allowed each to see what the other was thinking. That was a very good episode!

I agree. I forget the name of one, where Crusher and Picard fell, and HE had to do the doctoring!!! That was a wild episode. I do remember Kespret, it was great, so was Sub Rosa

That sounds like "The Arsenal of Freedom", a First Season episode I saw fairly recently on the Sci Fi channel. They fell into deep pit, right? And Crusher broke her leg and had to give Picard instructions on how to treat for shock and use roots to stop the bleeding?

The two you mentioned are among my favorites, too. I remember the first time I saw "Yesterday's Enterprise", I missed the very first scene (the pre-credit scene, where the ship emerged from the wormhole), and all through it, I kept thinking, "well, something's a little bit wrong here". Tasha Yar was still Security Chief, for one thing. Then there's the subdued lighting on the bridge, and the white belts everyone was wearing. And when Picard says, "It might have averted 20 years of war," I was just frozen in shock! It suddenly hit me at once that what I was seeing was an alternate timeline!

From what they've been posting on imdb.com, alternate timelines are not entertaining! Faves: Inner Light, The Best of Both Worlds 1 and 2, All Good Things 1 and 2, The Perfect Woman and the ones where Picard is interrogated by David Warner and the one where O'Brian's old captain has PTSD.

From what they've been posting on imdb.com, alternate timelines are not entertaining! Normally I'd agree. Most stories that deal with alternate timelines (say ENT's "In a Mirror Darkly") just strike me as "so what? why should I care?". But this one was well done.

Well, I can think of one recent alternate timeline that I enjoy!

I do like episodes that deal with alternate realities, but they need to be done well. I know this isn't for everyone.
