Ambruz I think that a Cardassian Galor class ship could defeat smaller ships of other races in a battle , but wouldn't stand much of a chance against any of the larger or mid sized Federation ships like The Galaxy, Ambassador, nebula, sovereign or any of the larger/ mid sized classes of ships of the Klingon's and Romulans. For its size, the galor class in my opinion, is one of the weakest war ships. It would be a major threat to freighters, civilian and smaller ships though. I base this on everything I have seen in the trek series.

in the next generation one nebula glass destroies 3 cardassian ships with a few torpedoes. I've noticed that in the dominion war nobody used shields, every hit gos against the primary hull immediatly... what do you think?

I think that this is for cause and effect in the battle scenes to make things more dramatic. It all depends on which specific scene we are refering to as there are many examples!

Amebruz, I'm sure the Shields were there and not seen or were already down from being hit a lot.

maby, but, at example th battle to retake deep space nine: the smaller ships went only against cardassians, and the first torpedo hit the hull, making a big hole... and then another and an other again.

I remember one episode, but not the name of it, That Worf went with General Martok to destroy a Dominion ship yard. They were in a Klingon bird of prey. They did this just after Jadzia's death to get her into Stobel Korr. They had to fly very closes to a star, near the ship yard to cause a coronal mass ejection. At the end ,they did, with 3 Jem Hadar attack ships after them which were also destroyed.

Another thing about that episode was that there was a lot of tension between Worf and Quark. It was funny when Quark complained about having gaugh for every meal and noticing that some of the Klingons were in agreement with him in the mess hall.

Yes this is true. There are many examples of tension between Worf and Quark. In this episode, Quark was complaining about Worf not being thankful he went along and confronted Worf about it. Worf Said "Ferengi. It is you who should be thanking me for allowing you to come along" I'm not sure I got the quote exactly right ,but this is basically what Worf said to Quark. They later came to peace with the situation.
