I think that the last battle of the war with the Dominion, when the Cardassians turned against the other Dominion ships was a redeeming act on their part. I wasn't too surprised by this because of the Cardassian uprisings against the Dominion for their atrocities and oppression against them.

when they turned with the federation many cardassian civilians have been killed. it's exactly the same thing that happened to italan civilians durring the second world war. actualy cardassians acted like italians in the second world war.

Amebruz. This is a very interesting comparison between what the cardassians did at the end of the Dominion war and what The Italians did at the end of WW2! I knew Italy switched sides during the 2nd WW ,but did not know about what you said they did in your last post.

in the WW2 italians were (unfortunatly) allies of the germans, when the switched side poor italians soldiers all over europe where killed by germans who were near to them. many cities were destroyed (like genova, where I'm born). a perfect example of the germans killing italians was the cefalionia tragedy ( cefalonia is a small island in south greece ). see the film "captain's corelli's mandolina" with nicolas cage and penelope cruz

you're welcome. however cardassia got in a very difficult position when she turned side. well, that's what happens if your allies are the dominion.
