I don't know about you guys but i really dont think they should of killed off data in the movie 'Nemesis'. I don't know why but that really anoys me. When he was destroyed with the ship i was seriously emotional. What about you guys?

It certainly was an emotional moment for me, because I wasn't expecting it at all. But -- people die. It's something we have to get used to. Only fictional characters just go on and on like immorals. In my mind, that makes Data more real to me.

If it makes you feel any better, after I saw the movie, I went around in a daze for the next three days. The only thing I could think was "he's dead... he can't be dead..." And that song "Blue Skies" would pop into my head, and I just... well, I had to get out a hanky.

I ciried loads and my mom thought i was going mad and i went around muttering "hes dead..." to! But i can always watch the NG episodes again so it feels like he never died. But I am NEVER going to watch Nemesis again.

But I am NEVER going to watch Nemesis again. The worst part is if you don't have friends who are Trekkies, you can't tell them why you're upset. Imagine telling them you're sad because a character in a movie died. They'd put you away!

Wrinkled Data would never have worked, though. Blame this all on Berman and Logan.

What about if Data discovered he had an ageing program built into him, and found they could remove it, but Data declines?

I was upset that Data died in Nemesis! At least he died saving the ship and crew! It was Honorable!! B4 was given Data's memories and hopefully he will choose to better himself in time like Data always did!!

The good thing about B4 is that he isnt any where near as powerfull as Data, but i think it would be a bad idea to think as B4 as the new Data, but somone who has all Data's teachings in his brain, B4 wont go far though, one thing i would enjoy watching is La Forge working on B4 to increase the capacity of his positronic brain, so he doesnt reach the power of Data, but the level of a Human
